Question about when to take the exams...

Hey All!

I am a first year D.O. student planning on taking both the USMLE and the COMLEX. I know we take Step 1 of both the USMLE and COMLEX at the end of second year, but when do we take Step 2 and Step 3 of both exams?

conventional way: step II M4 and step III end of PG1

yup same for both tests....step 2 is usually whenever its convenient for you during 4th year as most of your core rotations are during 3rd year and much of 4th year is spent on electives and interviewing/prepping for the match...step 3 is towards the end of pgy1 (aka internship)
