for anybody whose taken or knows people whove taken, kinda alone over here

how accurate is UWSA, both for score and distribution of questions subjects? It doesnt feel right?

Im asking because for step 1 UWSA scored me 16 points higher than actual. I'm also asking because with so few questions overall, doesn't the accuracy go way down.

just finished UWSA for CK and dont know what to make of it, or what to study based on results because of so few questions, etc

UWSA breakdown:
66% IM
11% Surg
Peds 8%, OB 8%, Psych 7%

havent done the SA yet, will be doing soon. Unfamiliar with that breakup though! From what i've seen with friends, you just get scores of individual blocks.
this guy I know saw that he was scoring 75+ in all of them, he didn't finish his final block because he didnt want to get psyched out by the score prediction.

For me UWSA was 2 points lower than actual for CK, and for step 1 it was 13 pts higher than actual. Personally, I felt the real thing was more difficult than UWorld questions, but ended up doing well. Distribution can vary--some people get a lots of peds, other OB. I had more IM and psych than I was expecting. You really gotta be prepared to have an exam slightly biased towards any of those. IM will of course always be the majority of the exam, but you may feel other areas are over-represented and thus do your best to be comfortable with them.

been asking a lot about uwsa compared to ck test for scores

because for awhile now, everytime i try to click on the "uw and step II scores" forum, it never loads, i thought it was sdn maintanence, but its not been loading even when rest of sdn is.

anybody know about this?

Do most people get same score of uwsa?
how do the percentages of uwsa blocks relate to score?

I'd be pretty happy with uwsa score if its accurate, considering I finished a lot of subjects after the uwsa. but dont want to expect it, because with step 1, werent we all saying uwsa "underestimated" your score, and then we had nbmes, formulas, and kaplan websites, etc, and everything overshot my prediction by a lot so kind of weary of same thing happening again

Regarding question distribution, I thought UWSA resembled the real thing quite closely. I know this differs considerably, however.

UWSA seems to be more accurate for Step 2. I'll let you know when I get my score.

BUMP, I'm wondering the same thing myself. I just took UWSA for CK and I was wondering how well it represented different subject areas?

If you ask me, I felt the self assessment was a little lacking on Psych. But I am curious if anyone who has actually taken CK can chime in on their experience so as how well in terms of subject matter the actual exam was distributed in relation to the UWSA.

I really wish NBME practice tests would show explanations. Ugh!

Hey guys,
For recent test takers, how well did you feel the UWSA resembled the real Step2CK in content and distribution of topics. Thanks
