Hi everyone,
I had a quick question. It's not a "do I have a chance" thread, more of a admissions question. I got a C- in my first semester of General Chemistry, but I have taken classes all the way through Organic and have received A's and B's. It shows that some of the schools won't let you in with anything less than a C in a pre-req course. My university won't let me take the class over because once you take a class that is higher, you can't take the lower level class over again.
Do I still have a chance? Will some schools allow an exception seeing as I have done better the past few semesters? Thanks! I am really anxious and nervous because I have worked hard to get to this point, and I don't want my school to mess me over because of a bad first year!
