Question for aProgDirector – USMLE attempts ??

I would really appreciate if you can answer this:
If I registered for (and paid) for a USMLE exam but did not take it (did not show up at the test site) – and then took the exam later (had to register and pay again) – does this count as a second USMLE attempt?
Does this make me look like a weaker applicant?
Can programs filter me based on this?

If you did not sign in to the exam, it does not count as an attempt and there's no way for them to find this out.
