Question for Cali applicants.

K this may be obvious, I just want to be sure (like all pre-meds). Which UC med schools did you all send the UC primary application to? I know for sure that UC Irvine and UCSF need the primary but do any of the others? I did check the websites. Thanks for your help.

I just sent them to all of the schools (better safe than sorry, I guess). I know that UCSD said it was "optional".

I did pretty much the same thing. I went to all the websites, and all the schools said they wanted it, except for UCSD's, which was "optional." I just went ahead and sent it to all of them. It's not much work...just copy some info from your AMCAS onto the UC App and shorten your experiences to a few phrases.

UCLA specifically tells you to not send it until they send you a secondary.

heh don't worry, i sent them one too. and probably everyone else.

the instructions weren't up for a long time after the UC app was available, so I'd imagine they got a lot of them already.
