Hey all,

Columbia wants 3 science professor LOR's, and UMD wants 1 biology and 1 chemistry professor LOR. Unfortunately, I'm applying with 1 biology, 1 physics, and 1 non-science LOR.

For those of you who have applied to these schools, could you tell me they'll even consider me if I don't have those specific recommendations? Thanks!

I got accepted by UMD with 2 biology LOR only, no chemistry LOR. I think once you get the supplemental application, you're fine. Best of luck.

Just wanted to chime in, I got accepted to Columbia with only 1 LoR from a science professor. Sounds like it isn't that big of a deal.

Thank you both! I appreciate it 🙂
