I see no problem reusing the same personal statement. If you feel like the one you wrote is good, and can't be improved upon i would stick w/ what works with you. A personal staement should probable be something close to your heart, so one who argues that it's lazy not to write a new one, probably is not writing a very sincere personal statement. I did however have to shorten mine, b/c somehow the length requirements were shorter for 2006 v.s 2005, so I'd check that as soon as AADSAS is up so you can edit it appropriately, btw this can actually be hard as it is tough to decide what to keep and what not to keep when it all seems important. Also, do emphasize any recent improvements in your application when possible. I got into 2 of 3 schools I interviewed at, with essentially the same essay, so I dont think its much of a problem.
