Hi,
I'm 21 and in my second year of law school and my dad is a lawyer and he expects me to practice after I graduate and sit for my bar entry exam, he shuts me down when I talk about any other career path..I plan to apply for med school after. Is it greedy that I want to get into med school and not practice law at all afterwards?

Not greedy at all. Do what makes you happy. You’re a grown man(woman?) and daddy can’t make you practice law. If you do decide to apply, Just be smart with required courses, MCAT, letters etc. Oh, and I’m sure someone will ask why you switched from law to medicine so be ready for that. Goodluck!

Greedy? No. But why do you want to be a doctor? And why do you not want to be a lawyer?
