I'm not really clear on how accepting acceptance offers from multiple schools work.

Say you receive an acceptance from State U on Oct 20 and you accept the offer. Then a month later, another schools offers you an acceptance... Is it okay to accept the second one without notifying either school?

Basically, can you hold as many acceptances as you want until May 15?

yep, though if you know you'd rather go to one of the two, it's best to notify the school that you won't be accepting their offer...that way others can have a chance.

also, i think that at most schools (all?) you can get your deposit for holding your spot back (usually $100) if you let them know before may 15.

do you have an msar? i think it details all of this at the beginning

No I don't have an MSAR. I can't afford it 😀 I lost all my money betting on the BUCS the first two weeks. We lost this week but covered the spread...

Is there a general date that schools notify you of your projected financial aid package? I think that would be one of the key decision factors...

So kind of related, I wasn't watching the game tonight but was out studying, and I get a random call from one of my older friends from my church, who usually rely on my as the medical person (which is ridiculous - when will people learn that pre-med doesn't mean we know everything about medicine). Out of the blue he asked me how necessary one's spleen is. It was mildly funny.
