Question on both Science and Cumulative GPA

1. Is there a major difference between a 3.75 CGPA and 3.8 CGPA

2. Is there a major difference between a 3.5 SGPA and 3.6 SGPA

to answer the question, its reallly up to the ppl reviewing the file, some might say no, some might say yes... who knows...

i say yes to 1 and no to 2. but thats just me. everybody will see it differently

Not really.... 3.5 or 3.6 maybe?

Most accepted averages are 3.6...

So, I would want to be above a 3.6 period.

That's the point. There will be a wide variation in how adcoms see the two GPAs. No pre-med is going to be able to say definitively if there is a "major" difference between those.

It's impossible to answer. If you thought about it for about 2 seconds you'd come to the same conclusion.
