Question on those supp. app. single page essays

I'm dealing with one of those open-topic single page essays. I guess I was hoping that someone would have some insight about what adcoms might be looking for in these? Or, is this a case of there being no wrong answer (as long as you don't detail your plans for world domination, etc. along those lines)?
