Hi guys!
I've always wondered something. So I am finally complete today, and hopefully will get verified in the next couple of weeks. So I still feel pretty early.

So say someone had their secondaries in in July/August for the schools. But then say you are someone like me w/ a 30 MCAT, 3.5 GPA, and 3.36 BCPM. If a school is going to interview me, are they going to do it early, since they got my stuff relatively early (and then make their decision and maybe keep me on a waitlist long term), or will schools be more likely to hold my application for months and months before offering me an invite, if they're going to?

I know all the schools are different and the process is just plain weird, just wondering generally what people's experiences and thoughts were.

Even if you turn in your stuff early, it depends........sometimes they may put you on hold if they want to review your application more, other times they may give you an earlier interview, etc. There's really no way to give a sure answer to this question. It is hard to predict what they will or won't do.

This depends on so many things. Some schools set up interviews as soon as they can and get everything out of the way. Some take forever. Just wait, see, and be patient; one will come eventually. With the exception of UCs, the state schools seem to move much more quickly on average than any ivys, which wait until they receive tons of applications.

If you really want to know about a specific school, do research on the school's tendencies in the past.
