I was just wondering what all of you use in terms of needles and catheters for a cervical epidural steroid injection with catheter. Foe example there is one guy that uses a 16 guage RK needle with a brevi epidural catheter

If you don't feel comfortable with the long bevel length of the RK, the RX needle has a shorter bevel (even shorter than a Tuohy needle) and is far more shear resistant than a Tuohy.

Furthermore, there is a 21ga. Versa-Kath epidural catheter that can be inserted with an 18 RX Needle which is great for threading up cervically from T1-T2.
