question regarding application

hey guys,
i wanted to know if it's possible for me to send in my application for advanced standing program at BU without yet have receiving my diploma from BDS and my ndb1 scores...i mean could i send them just he application and then tell them that i will send them the scores and my diploma certificate as soon as i get them or would it be better just to send everything at once...when i get everything...i'm just wondering cuz it's getting late and i know all the spaces are already probably gonna be taken but i thought if i sent my application at least a little earlier maybe it would help me out a bit.....what dou guys think..will they accept my application with my ndb1 scores and diploma from BDS pending.....thanks

Hi Khurram

U can send u application in but to me it wount be of any use cuz they wount start to review it even if they have it until they recieve ur degree and nbde score, ece evaluation.
It is going to take 6-8 week for nbde result to come out so just give ur exam forget about the application for a while and send it when ur done with ur exams .

Hi khurram,
I don't think that would be a wise move.you need your ECE course by course report for applying to BU and you can't get it without your dental diploma.so if you sent the application alone without the ECE report ,Diploma and NDB score ,I think they would say it is" Incomplete "during processing .so what would be the use esp when they have specified in their site to sent only complete applications?
so I think it would be better to wait it out till you get your scores and diploma.but still you can call the school and ask them directly to erase any doubts.

Hi khurram:

Watch out!!!!!!it is not only sending the application.Read the application form at BU very very carfully.You also need to submit an ECE general evaluation report+a course by course evaluation report.This will take you at least one month to get and you CAN NOT get any of theme unless you have your deploma +and your full transcrept.

I am NOT trying to discorage you at all.Please do not missunderstand me,But if you do not have your:
1-Deploma
2-Transcrept
3-ECE both evaluation reports
4-your part-1 score

If you do not have all of these in your application package,so what are they are gonna look at.It is mentioned in their site that you should have ALL OF THE DOCUMENTS BEFOR YOU SEND YOUR APPLICATION.

Just to clear things for you,I sent my application on line+my credentials on the 1st of october2003 with a TOEFL=230.I called them a week later and they told me that my application would not be reviewed till I get the minimumTOEFL of 250.I knew that befor submitting my application ,but I was very anxtious like you I just wanted to send an application.

Thanks GOD I retook the TOEFL during that time and got a new score of 257.

yeah i dind't think it would be a good idea to send just an application i was just getting very anxious cuz i knwo it's getting lat ein the process i just wish i would have taken my ndb last summer but then again i still woudlnt have had my diploma so it wouldn't have mattered..just bad timign wiht college and a littel bad luck..oh well i wont let it get me down...by teh way...

SAM3 you said that you sent ure application online and then mailed the rest of the stuff...thats' what i'm plannig on doing however...did u e-mail ure application FIRST and then mail out the rest of ure stuff or did u mail out the rest of ure stuff and then email them the online application when they recieved ure scores , diploma, ece etc? im confused about htis cuz i dont want to sned them the online application and then get a message from them that my application is incomplete when in acutallity my stuff is in teh mail already on it s way to them ....

Don't worry, BU takes a while to download online applications, Even if you hit the deliver button today, it doesn't mean they'll download it today. Anyhow, I mail my package first and a couple of days later I filed my online app.
