Question Regarding Deadlines

When schools post up their deadlines, does that mean that you must have the DAT submitted as well or can your completed application along with supplemental application only be submitted. The schools I'm applying to the deadlines are approaching and I wanted to re-take my DATs to score higher. So whats the process? My applications are submitted and so are my supplemental application and fee's but I want to re-take the DAT so how does that tie in with the deadline due date? Can someone please answer?

oh and I'm planning on taking it in December. Thats my target.

i am sure you know that taking in december is bad because by dec 1st, many schools will have filled their class. If you take in december, your score will be sent in almost january, at this point, the schools that get turned down by their accepteds will have already looked for replacements, there might be like 5 spots left, so you better have amazing gpa and DAT

with that said, i have seen people on this forum who get in after submitting AADSAS in late nov and early dec and still get in, it's a crapshot, if you can't take it before dec, you can't, work with what you got
