Hi everyone,
I have searched for in old threads for an answer to this question but have gotten conflicting answers. I graduated this spring with a cgpa of 3.3 and a science gpa of 3.1, and will be taking the MCAT in January 2014 to apply for matriculation to medical school in fall 2015. I would really like to retake some classes and even take some other bio courses to improve my gpa's, but I don't have any more financial aid available (have taken out the max) and frankly, going to the public university to take extra classes is just too expensive for me. Is it looked down upon to take extra classes at a community college for cost reasons instead of at a 4-year institution? Is it even worth it for me to take extra classes at this point? Thanks for any input!
