Question regarding publications from undergrad

Hey guys,

I have the ability to a literature review/case review in the field of chemistry/physics. Would it help me in the future if I decided to do rad/onc? I know there is a premium on research - would this publication help me, even in the slightest?

It would not hurt, but I don't think it would help you in any meaningful way for residency.

I'd definitely do it - just because it is good to have all sorts of experiences, and it may help you to learn how to publish/write, and may help you a little in getting into med school - but I don't think it will directly impact your chances in rad onc. Do as much as you can, it is always beneficial.
