Do Med schools prefer you shadow in a hospital environment or would it be acceptable to them to shadow in a private practioner's clinic? I have scheduled shadowing a doctor this summer, but he is general practitioner (internal medicine) with a small office. What do you guys think?

Or you can just call the office and ask the front desk to deliver a message. Plus, doctors have been through the system too, they know what's going on and what needs to be done.
