Hi, I'm new to the forum. I submitted my application already and I am taking the DAT next week. If God forbid I don't score as well as I hoped, hopefully not the case!! Does that mean I would have to resubmit my application and pay for the application fees all over again? I'm confused how this works. Any advice is appreciated!!! Thanks!

No, not if you take the DAT again this application cycle you won't pay the fees again for the apps! They will send out your new scores

So if I take the exam for the next application cycle,I am not required to pay the fees again but if I was to take it for this cycle I would have to pay the fees again? Sorry im just trying to make sure I'm not mixing the two up. Thank you for the quick response!!

Every year you submit an application you pay the fees. You can take your dat again and it wil upload to your current submitted application.

When you take the DAT, the score(s) is/are available for AADSAS to grab.

Your DENTPIN is extremely important in this case, as it will be the only thing that ties your scores to your application. Through that, every time you take the DAT AADSAS will be able to pull the scores from ADA.
