question: why did i get 2 interviews at a school and not 1?

I was just wondering why Stony Brook gave me two separate interviews on the same day instead of one. Anyone know why med schools do this? Stony Brook is known to give usually one.

Is it possible the invites specify different times / locations for two different interview meetings? A lot of schools hold interviews with two separate interviewers (e.g. two faculty members, a faculty/student interview hybrid, etc.)

i got two interview times at stony also...i guess they're just doing it differently this year...
