Hey guys, now that I am officially applied to podiatry schools I was thinking of starting a "just podiatry" forum. I was wondering how many of you would be interested in such an idea?

Hey guys, now that I am officially applied to podiatry schools I was thinking of starting a "just podiatry" forum. I was wondering how many of you would be interested in such an idea?

I think this SDN forum suits me just fine, and the exposure of being located on a big site with a lot of traffic is good for the pod profession which is misunderstood by many. It's nice that it's easily accessible to pre-health students, allied health students, and practitioners to gain info and join conversations.

There are some popular pod-specific forums such as podiatrym or others...

I dont know it sounds like a good idea. To have a dedicated Podiatry forum where people get honest advise from their seniors and mentors without the sudden interference of some hyperactive trolls from other professions. We have lost many threads and valuable discussion because some one comes and hijack it and turn the whole direction of the thread.

But then again, SDN is SDN. Apart from the few trolls bothering us. This section is really awesome and has been a valuable source of info to many people including me.

Plus, just like there is no need of a new pod school, there is no need of a seperate pod forum.lol! The present forums are more than enough for Pods. may be in future we can think abt it.
