Questions about applying

OK so I am a freshman at the university of the sciences in philadelphia in the 6 year pharm D program. I am thinking about transferring into a graduate pharm. school after i complete 2 years here but i have a few questions about how it would work...

would I even be able to transfer after 2 years completed in pre pharm? I will have completed 2 semesters general sciences, calc, full year of Orgo, microbio, anatomy, physics, and 6 credits social sciences, 3 credits humanities.. im guessing i would have to take the PCATS in the winter of my second year (2009-2010)? but then i wouldnt be able to apply for graduate schools so i could enroll as a P1 in fall 2010? I also would have only complete 1 semester of orgo, micro, physics, and maybe anatomy.. would this even be enough to score well on the PCATS?

can someone let me know how it works, and around what dates (rough estimate) one would have to take the PCATS and Apply?

I'm really unsure about your intentions. First, pharmacy schools are professional schools and are not graduate programs. You get a PharmD and nowhere in the US do they offer a PhD in pharmacy. Unless you're looking to get a PhD in Pharmaceutics or Pharmacology, then you need to take the GREs and get Bachelors first. Secondly, why would you want to transfer out of a really great school? Just curious - but USP is one of the best pharm schools in the US and people in this forum would kill to be in your shoes. But if you're thinking about transfering into a different pharm school for whatever reason, refer to the pharmcas website that provides you admissions information on the different pharmacy schools because it varies. But in general, i think the first 2 pre-professional at USP covers the pharm pre-requisites.

You can check the pcat website. I'm not really sure off the top of my head.
And you can definitely do well on the PCATs with those courses you mentioned. I took the pcats midway during OChem 1 and I did fine on the chem section.
