Two somewhat unrelated questions:

1) My transcript with grades for this final semester won't be ready for another week. I've heard that waiting to have your transcript sent in to AMCAS/TMDSAS can cause late verification and people have recommended sending the transcript in starting when the application is available. Would it be a problem if I request my transcript to be sent some time between May 10th-May 15th?

2) TMDSAS and AMCAS both ask for awards/honors (TMDSAS has like a separate section for them it seems). Would putting honors like Dean's List or Cum Laude be meaningful given that they're just based off of GPA? What about merit scholarships that I held at my undergrad but were awarded based on high school performance (i.e. a full ride program at a university)?

Thanks in advance!

I’d totally write the ful ride on the application.

I did not list the deans list, but I had a 3.98 so it was obvious. Hope someone else can address that better for you as to what they did and why.

All you can do is wait for your transcript to be ready before you send it. I’m sure those dates are fines as anyone applying your year must wait and do the same.

1) If you have space limitations, feel free to omit these honors. As you said, your GPA speaks for itself.

2) I wouldn't mention it unless you had ongoing college GPA requirements (or whatever) to continue receiving the scholarship, in which case, say so. There is another part of the application where you will be asked about the percent of college expenses paid by scholarships.

To save space, I put all awards/honors as one activity (Honors/Awards/Recognitions). I included honor societies that I was only involved in as a member with dates, deans list with dates, and scholarships. I couldn't write meaningful descriptions of these, so using more than one activity was a waste of space and allowed me to show more of my accolades.
