Anyone can help me answer these questions about Cornell Qatar:

1. Are you considered a foreign graduate MD?

2. Do you take the same USMLE's as the US?

3. Can you come back and do residency and practice in the US without taking any more exams?

4. How about rotations? can you select to do some rotations in the US with the US Cornell school?

Yes you are, on their website is says you must apply for the steps and residency thru ECFMG.

2. Do you take the same USMLE's as the US?

Yes you do, everyone regardless of being foriegn or US takes the same steps.

3. Can you come back and do residency and practice in the US without taking any more exams?

That is true. Everyone takes the same steps 1-3.

4. How about rotations? can you select to do some rotations in the US with the US Cornell school?

I'm not sure about this one. But I'm pretty sure you could schedule some away rotations.

You betcha. You will need to go through ECFMG certification in order to get a residency in the U.S.

2. Do you take the same USMLE's as the US?

Everyone takes the same USMLEs. (Was different in the past, isn't now.)

3. Can you come back and do residency and practice in the US without taking any more exams?

You can compete for a residency based on your USMLE scores (Step 1, Step 2 CS, Step 2 CK); you'll have to take Step 3 like everyone else for full licensure.

4. How about rotations? can you select to do some rotations in the US with the US Cornell school?

No idea.
