Hi all,

This is my first post on SDN, but I've been following for a while picking up pieces of information regarding study materials.

I'm taking my DAT July 13th with a Sci GPA 3.52 and cum of 3.6. I'm a college athlete and have plenty of EC's. I have 100s of hours shadowing clinically as well as in private practice. My comittee letter is done and sent in for vertification and my transcripts were sent on friday.

My question is should I send my application now or just wait until July 13th when I receive my DAT scores. I'm confident I'll do well but it's a lot of money to put down without my DAT which could make or break my app. I think mid July will still be early enough as well.

Also, after I submit my application should I then send all my supplementary applications in afterwards? I realize these are basic questions but it's uncharted for me and overwhelming at the time so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Get all your app info up there and saved on the central app as well as any stuff you need that is supplementary for schools on your list ready to go now, then after you take the DAT's send it out right then if you like your score. Otherwise look at each school to see how they feel about retaking after applications. I know that my school UB SDM is OK with it as long as the rest of your stuff is good and you score higher. Hope that helps!
