Hi there bros and sis,
I am volunteering as a pharm tech at a small local pharmacy. It has been only 2 days and I'm planing on volunteering there once a week until December. I'm doing this job because I want to have something to write on my resume as well as to show that I got experiences. As I volunteer there only once a week, I really want to know what I should focus to pay attention on while working. Something that the interviewers will ask me to see if I had experiences.
Can you please tell me what did your interviewers ask you when they want to see if you got experiences?
Any response will be much appreciated.
😍

they asked me questions like what I liked and disliked about working in the pharmacy, some problems I encountered etc. questions that a person who really worked in a pharmacy would lnow. they can also ask what a common drug, like lipitor, looks like.
really, you are doing this for yourself, not for the school. gain exposure to know if you really want to do pharmacy for life. some people get bored of the repetition after a few days.

You should focus on the relationships between pharmacists and patients. I work for an independent pharmacy and I have very unique relationships and experiences with customers. After all, pharmacists are the most accessible health care professionals. You don't need to make an appointment to get medical advice.

As rxlea said, read the interview feedback forum. The majority of interview questions include questions regarding unique personal experiences in a pharmacy or workplace in general. Pay attention to the way the techs and pharmacists develop and foster relationships with their patients. Try to find a unique situation that really made the patients day or a time when the pharmacist went above and beyond their duty.

This is very helpful. Thanks a lot for your thoughtfulness. 🙂

I did, but I could not find any specific question regarding pharm tech experiences...

You won't, but once you get closer to the application cycle and start getting interviews, will you then be able to narrow down the schools typical interview question pool. If you sift through it now, you are going to get a variety of questions, not related to your inquiry.
