Some of this might have come up before and if so I'm sorry--maybe I could be directed to the relevant post in that case...

Let's say you talk to a recruiter and get some job offers, and then find some others on your own--can you let the recruiter know you looked at some other jobs, and let them know what ranges of offers you might have heard? They don't teach us this stuff in residency...

I've been talking to a few recruiters lately. They are kinda like car salesmen. Rule #1: Do your research. Rule# 2. Make an offer. Rule#3. Always walk out the first time.

Recently a recruiter offered me a nightmare of a job with insane call, q15 min outpatient, no cap inpatient that was wrapped up like a cute little present...
