Hello....
I am a graduate in Psychology from Indiana University...I have been out of school for about a year and a half now, doing some work with austim and as a supervisor for a non for profit dealing with clients with disabilities.
I have already taken my GRE, scored about a 1000 total .....i may retake this test as well. My psych GPA is about 3.3 (3.4).
I have very good letters of recommendation.
Anyways....I have begun the process of going back into school to do a masters and after much research, i decided on the field of I/O psychology. Specifically i would like to pursue a MA in this field.
I have two questions:
What are some of the good I/O programs that some ppl on the board are familiar with?
I have already checked the ranking online through the SOIOP and researched some of the requirements.
Also i have a visit to Chicago to meet with advisers for the MA program, has anyone heard anything about the I/O programs through ROOSEVELT or CHICAGO SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL psychology?
finally.....what are some of your experiences with this field? Does it have a good job outlook as stated on many sites that i have read?
and does it make a difference in the name of the school once you get the degree?
