Hey guys/girls,
Just got accepted to Temple and I was wondering if any current TUSPM students could answer questions for me, or anyone else, about the school, areas to live, whatever. Since I only have a month before I have to put down that hefty $1000 non-refundable deposit, I'm trying to make up my mind between Temple and a couple other schools. Any info you could chime in on would be much appreciated.
A few questions I have off the bat:
How easy it to get around Philadelphia with the buses, subway, rails? I wouldn't want to bring a car to Philadelphia, so I was wondering if I would ever run into trouble getting to hospitals during third/fourth year or for just getting around to get groceries or going to a bar.
Are there any aspects of Temple that sold you on this school compared to other schools?
Do the students have a good balance between studying and going out, exercising, socializing, etc.? I obviously know there will be a lot of studying, but I'm just trying to get a feel for what people like to do when they're not holed up in the library.
How do you like the curriculum and the exam schedule?
