Some of the med schools in the Caribbean (and very few in the US) have January terms for first year med school students. I'm considering applying to them as opposed to waiting for the August term. Has anyone else considered this? Successfully done this? Any help/advice at all? Thanks!

You'll get screwed over going to a caribbean medical school just as bad if you go in the August term as you will if you go in the January term 🙁 So, really, it's up to you.

Is it me, or does it seem like there have been SO many caribbean medical school threads lately? This isn't ValueMD lol

There are probably many more options for you before going to a Caribbean School. I would reconsider applying at all, but it is your choice.
