I recently took the PCAT twice, both times made a 7... I've been down about it. My overall gpa is 2.9 and I have 5+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician. I'm very well aware that my chances are very, very slim. Any recommendations on how to study for the PCAT? I have the Dr. Collins study guide and the Pearson practice exams.

I think your best bet is applying to schools that don't require the PCAT. Even if you retake it and improve your score both of the 7's will still appear on your application

so many schools require the pcat though, and i'm afraid that i won't have a chance due to my gpa being so low..

I don't think you are studying properly if you are receiving 7s.....

Do you go over the questions you missed on Dr. Collins? After you go over it, do you go over it again to make sure you actually got the concept?

I tutored some of my friends and their score went up drastically. Their problem was they never revisited problems that they got wrong. But even they were getting 40-50s.

Do you just have no idea how to do any questions at all because it has been a while since you took any of the classes?

A tutor might be helpful if you really have no idea how to do them. Going over Dr. Collins and Pearson Practice test isn't going to do much if you don't get the basic concepts. The two study material is for review, not actual learning.
