Hey guys,
I'm a Canadian studying in the US and have a few questions about how hard it will be to match into an anesthesiology residency program in Canada.
I'm tossing around the idea of just forgetting about CaRMS and going all in for the NRMP so as not to spread myself too thin during the application cycle. I think it would be hard to schedule aways in both countries and really stand out, so should I just stay here for residency/fellowship?
I've scanned match lists recently and notice that most Canadians studying in the US are matching back into FM residency spots.
Just wanting some advice from anyone who has successfully matched into an non-FM residency back home in Canada after attending a American medical school.
Cheers!
