Do dental schools look down on Online Courses?

Pretty limited where I live and have taken many upper-division sciences already in undergrads.

I have several options in courses delivered online from the college I graduated from. They are mostly 500-level that I meet requirements to take...BUT yes they are all online.

online, grad level science classes? Would your transcript even reflect that they're online?

Sorry I don't have an answer

I took a class online and it was a science without a lab - the thing is it isnt represented as online / distance on the transcript so I'm not worried about it... but in general it seems like online isnt as good? I think they like to think you're attending a class with other students to compete with and there is some sort of curve to set?

Now, I am not too sure on this.... but IN GENERAL, dental schools don't like to see online courses taken by pre-dents.... reason: They don't like you to get used to the idea of staying home and taking classes, since most of your dental school courses (especially the basic sciences taught in the first 1.5 years of a dental curriculum) are video recorded and posted online.... They want you to get into the habit of coming to class.

Call up some dental schools that you are interested in and see what they have to say
