I have talked to an advisor and was told it doesn't matter, but I wanted to check your opinions. Does it matter what order you take your LAB and LECTURE in the week? I am scheduled to have my lab on the monday school starts, and then the lecture on tues/thurs. idk why, but it seems weird to go into the lab first, then the lecture, but maybe I'm just crazy.

it doesn't matter at all 🙂 On the 1st day of lab, they will show u a video about safety stuff, and make u draw a map of the lab room

all i needed to know, thanks

I'm gonna go ahead and just let you know that most likely the lab and the lecture won't coincide at all, at least from my experience. So it doesn't matter what order you take it

I did the same thing, JAT. My chem lab was on Monday whereas my lectures werent until later in the week.

I wouldn't worry about it at all. They make you watch a safety video the first day of lab and they will make sure that you learn all the material first before you have to experiment with it.

This is how you know you may be obsessing over the academic process a bit too much. Relax - just learn and get good grades in the classes you take - the order is not relevant.
