I've been an undergrad for 6 years and I'm not real sure how to place myself as a freshman, sophomore and so on for the different years. I haven't really considered myself as a senior until this year, so I'm wondering if AMCAS has rules for declaring what level your at or not. Should I just go by credits for example:

0-30 credits Freshman
31-60 credits Soph.
61-90 credits Jr.
91 and up Senior

If it's this way, then I will have been a senior for 3 years. LOL.

I went by credits. I was a senior for a while too.

So did I, it makes no sense now that I look at it. YOu cant look at your AMCAS and say....freshman year I did this well. Silly AP credits and spanish retros.

i would do it by credits since you went for more than 4 years...i was told that for someone who only went 4 years that AP was counted as frosh, then you go by classes per year for the rest...
