My school offered statistics through the psychology department. Will this course count towards my BCMP GPA?

Not necessarily true. My statistics class as an undergrad was through the psychology department and counted as BCPM. My advice is just try it. The worst that will happen is that AMCAS disagrees and they change it. No harm done.

Luckily mine is through the math department. I was also required to take a class called data analysis which was incredibly easy. I'm all for easy classes going toward the science gpa.

it doesnt matter which department it is under if it is regular stats...if you are learning math, it counts as math.
