I will take my CS exam very soon.

I have a question on how to introduce myself to the SPs. My first name is a short and easy name, but my last name is quite long. I am just wondering what is the easy way to do it without causing problem to the SPs. I really do not know what is the CS regulation on this.

I have several options, please tell me which one is acceptable and the best! Many thanks.

1. this is Dr. my long last name....

2. this is Dr. a short version of my last name...

3. this is student Dr. my easy first.....

4. this is Dr. any random easy last name....

You are allowed to use any name, it does not matter. You can use a fake name if you feel your own name may be too difficult. Just remember to respond to it through the course of your encounter.

Try to be as natural as possible during the exam. It is a stressful situation so you don't want to fumble up the fake name you rehearsed. Plus, they don't care about our names they care about their names.
