Hi I have a quick question:

My kaplan book and my kaplan instructor says that q = m (Delta Heat of fusion)

, but

when I watch chad videos he says that q = n (Delta Heat of fusion)

Does anyone know which is the correct formula I should go with when solving calorimetry problems?

Thank you!!

The one that you choose depends on what unit is given for Heat of fusion. Whatever it is, they gotta cancel so unit of q is J or kJ. m can be calculated from n and vice versa.
