I am currently finishing up with my personal statement and wanted some advice. Would it be proper to include the specific names of the doctors that I had experiences with? Any feedback would be great, thanks in advance.

What has helped me the most is by reading sample personal statements online and seeing what structures have been successful in the past.

I included the name of the DPMs I shadowed.

Your PS should include the reasons...the how's and why's...of your interest in medicine and then focus on Podiatry. You can talk about your interest in medicine from taking science classes, your experiences while volunteering, or from a paid job. Talk about how you found out about Podiatry and what you observed and learned during shadowing. I concluded my PS by adding stuff on where I see myself in 10 years and where the future of medicine is headed..etc.
