Okay, I'm planning to apply this coming June (2003) to hopefully enter med school in fall '04. Should I use the current 2003/2004 MSAR that's out now, or will they be coming out with another 2004/2005 one that I should wait to buy next year? I just want to use the most current one for the year I'm applying, so if they're going to put out a new one this spring or something I can just wait to buy it. Thank you for humoring me.

It probably won't be very different, but there will be a new one

i used the 2001/2002 to apply for 2003. (outdated 1yr)

it gave me all i needed to know for my purposes; extra info i found on school websites.

best of luck! 🙂

i don't even have one. i looked at one at school for a few minutes, but that's about it.

Definitely buy one, the most current one. Things change. Mine is in tatters. I pored over it, deciding which schools to apply to. I highlighted portions of it while writing secondaries for those schools. I tore out pages, or photocopied them, and took them to my interviews. I was on top of the financial aid application process, because I read that chapter in the MSAR. Definitely worth every penny!!

Does anyone know when the new one should be available?
