As I go through destroyer/bootcamp and come across anything that I didn't know or need to practice, I've been writing the info down in my notes and making flashcards. Only issue is I feel like my notes are a collection of random facts - for example I already have 10 pages of gen chem notes which jump around from something about Ksp to electrochemistry to pH calculations etc..

The other alternative would be typing my notes which would take longer but I could keep them organized....which approach do you guys think would be better? Thanks in advance

I put all the new random facts onto flashcards and review through them which helps refresh a broad breadth of info at one time, I also like to flip back to my initial notes and add or circle things I forgot or simply fudged up on.. that way I'm adding the new information to where it belongs.

Maybe instead of writing out new notes, use a new color pen and add to your existing notes?

It depends on how you learn, as some ppl really learn by writing and rewriting. But for me personally, I would now spend my time studying rather than rewriting - as that likely is a long process
