Hey guys, sorry to post in the forbidden forum for a pre-dent, but I just had to make sure if this information is correct, because it sounds just ridiculous.

Is it true that unless you go to a dental school with medical school curriculum like Columbia, Harvard, Conn, you have to do 7 years for dual degree OMS program rather than 6 years?

I've heard that UCSF's program is like this, but I was not sure if this was just a rumor.. Is this isn't a rumor, what other OMS programs follow the same protocol? Are majority of them like this?

Thank you!

UCSF used to be like that but no longer. For the vast majority they are all 6 years.

So that data is completely outdated?

Can we safely say that no matter which dental school you go to, all 6 years programs will be 6 years programs?

Thanks!

Thank you very much for your clarifying comments.
