Hey guys, i have a question about the testing environment/conditions: do they allow you to bring in drinks (i.e. coffee) into the testing room? If not, would they allow you to keep a cup/container in the waiting room for you to drink during your break?

I was wondering b/c my brain DOES NOT function very well in the morning unless I have a cup of coffee every hour or two....when i do, I concentrate A LOT better.

They don't allow anything in the room while you're taking your test, but you should and can bring something to drink and a snack for your break.

Jujeh, so no Gormeh Sabzi either 👎

I called and they highly recommended bringing "healthy" snacks and drinks....

Does Doogh count?

Please, do not mention Persian food right now. I'm currently on a "cut" cycle right now, so that means that I have to cut down on my carbs significantly (but i can have all the omega 3 fish oil i want -- yay!). Couple what your mention of my favorite food of all time, with the fact that my mom's making kabab and burgers on the bbq, which I can smell at the moment, but can't touch, and I'm damn near close to killing myself. haha -- 5% body fat better be worth it lol

You are not allowed to take anything inside with you. You're required to take off any form/size/shape of hats/caps. Your watch, cellphone, study notes, markers, etc. will all remain outside. No water and/or coffee either. If you choose to take any water and/or snacks with you, you can leave them in the locker they assign to you, before you go into the testing area.
If you decide to take a jacket inside, you're not allowed to take it off during the test. If you wear it at the beginning, you'll be keeping it on till your break comes up!
Most centers are very strict about these policies and they don't bend their rules under any circumstances.

With the DAT coming up, why not give your brain the glucose it wants?

Good deal with the omega 3; found that helpful. I also found lipoic acid supplement (used it for about a month ~150mg a day) along with carrot juice to be beneficial.

Results were pretty good on test day....

Can you imagine if we could take some chelo-kabab? OMG! I'd work faster just to take a break and eat 😀 So 5% fat huh? Try to exercise often too--the less "polo" I have the better my IQ and concentration, or the less sleepy I feel. How are you doing w/out enough carbs? I need to lose few lbs and I'm afraid I could not concentrate enough with all this studying. Viva Gormeh Sabzi!!!!!

P.S. Did you have your mom's Kabab?
