for obvious reasons, i want to get the most updated version w/ the most recent statistics.

that being said, whens the next "new" edition coming out?
so i can buy it accordingly...

and is waiting for a new MSAR stupid? since it most likely contains similar (if not almost exact) statistics as last year? or do u think its best to wait if theres no rush in getting the info...

my 4 am thoughts, the information about the schools will be pretty much the same as far as curriculum description and school philosophy, however tuition numbers may have changed and class profiles can usually be found online at the schools site also. There is info in the beginning of msar about stats for which mcat scores the percentages that get in, gpa's, ethnicity. There is also a financial aid chapter, havent read much of it yet but i suppose details in that may change year to year

Last year, it came out two weeks before the MCAT (from what I can recall).

As for waiting, for the most part, everything if pretty much the same year in and year out. The only reason for getting one now, as opposed to waiting for the new one in April, would be so that you can plan your spring semester classes (seeing as some schools have requirements/recommendations outside the 1 year of bio/chem/ochem/phys/english).
