Hi guys.
I got a quick question.
I am a Canadian ('eh?) studying in Canada.
Now there canadian DAT is slightly different from the american DAT.
The canadian DAT is identical with respect to everything else, however the only difference is that theres no math portion.
Instead of the math portion, we have a "manual dexterity test" which is basicalyl where they give you a bar of soap, a knife and ask you to carve funky things.
Anyway, ive have looked around but I cant find any info on this.
1) Do american Dental schools require you to take the Americana DAT or will the canadian one suffice?
2) Can I take the american DAT in canada? will there be test centres? The MCAT, the LSAT, the PCAT etc are all cross border. Its the same exact test for both canadians and americans. Only the DAT differs in its substitution of the manual dexterity test for the math portion.
