For MMI interviews, if we have 9 different stations with diff interviewers asking questions, can we use the same example/experience multiple times but with different interviewers?

Like for example, I talk about volunteering at the soup kitchen to develop compassion for the question "Why do you think you'd make a great physician?" with interviewer A
And I talk about volunteering at the soup kitchen because I was to see change and help others to answer the question "Tell me about yourself" with interviewer B

My school doesn't use MMI but I would imagine that each interviewer writes a report about the interaction with you. They might write details, "Applicant described experience in soup kitchen as an example of...." "Applicant is dedicated to soup kitchen volunteering." "Applicant is most proud of leadership experiences gained in the soup kitchen over the past two years..." It could seem as if you had only one thing that you could talk about which might cause those who are reading the descriptions of the interviews to find you rather boring.

Don't overthink it.

Just like with any kind of interview, there's no codified limit where you can only mention an experience once. That said, if you only have one experience to talk about, that obviously looks a bit suspicious.

Read MMI winning strategies by Desai on Scribd (9 dollar subscription gets you this plus tons of other books that you might read for admissions or just for fun). This helped me tremendously

As somebody who tries to read a book per week, I highly recommend this app. You also get the premed playbook interview guide, which isn’t great in my opinion but some love it

Winning interview strategies but the version that is not for MMIs. Desai writes good books imho. I think he’s better than Dr. Gray but other people like his content (his premed playbook is also on scribd)

I also highly recommend both of Desai’s interview books! The MMI one gives highly detailed samples of MMI scenarios and their answers. By far the most helpful MMI resource I’ve found.

I like Dr. Gray’s interview book but it’s not very helpful for MMIs in particular. His content for primary and secondary apps is excellent, but I’ve found that his interview resources are somewhat sparse.
