is it better to do research at my home college or at a MD school? 😀 😀
is one better than the other?

i don't think it really matters as long as you are doing pertinent research. it may help if the medical school is one you will apply to, and you will make crucial connections there. i think the most important part of your decision here is the type of research you will be doing (clinical?) and how much responsibility you will have.

well one (home school), is about the relationship between the sensory processes of bacteria and animals and the other has something to do with blood pressure.

does one interest you more than another? do you like the PI of one lab over the other? how much responsibility will you have in each lab? if one of the labs will allow you to run your own experiments and play a large role in the lab, i would choose that. you will enjoy it more because you won't just be washing out beakers, you will be learning more about the science, and medical schools will be able to judge how much responsibility you had. they will be more impressed if you have more experience and are perhaps an author on a paper.
