How would you calculate the amount of RNA you need if they give you the amount of amino acids??? I think I heard that was a question.

do you mean mRNA?
I would say you probably have to multiply the AA amount by 3. that should give you the amount of codon

somebody correct me if I'm wrong...
 
Someone told me there was a question that said:

If you have like 200 moles of AA, how many moles of Rna would you need?

ANd the answers were either 200 or less.

I think you would divide by 2 or 4, but not sure????
