Hey guys,
I recently got accepted to Upenn from the waiting list but I m going to nova since my whole family is in south florida. Is Upenn that great that I should reject nova?

Congratulations on the double acceptance! I think it'll be very difficult for anyone to answer this, as very few people have probably attended two different dental schools. If you toured and interviewed at both schools, you should decide based on your own impressions... just because one person loved Penn, doesn't mean that you will too.

Hello. I was wondering if anyone out there knows if Meharry school of dentistry will allow a second DAT score after applying with the 1st score. On the adea.org on-line application it gives the option to list future DAT appointment dates. So, I figure if I take my second DAT a month after I apply, it will get there in time for review. I want to do this so I can apply earlier and better my chances. Thank you.

salamander - yes, that timing should work. Start your own thread and you might get more interest.

Alexi- most people have indicated that pure cost of attendance is their largest factor in choosing between schools. Having family in the area would be a really strong factor for me as well, unless your family would drive you bats. However, the heat and humidity of florida versus the heat and humidity of penn plus or minus some hurricanes. It's a toss up. I would probably opt for the family.
