My state requires 100 ( 40 cat 1) and I'm due to renew in 3 months. I have heard the focus psychiatry book with 400 questions gives you 50 cat 1 just for completing the book. Seems too good to be true for under 60 bucks but if anyone can attest to this it will be a very big help.

Up to date. If your employer pays for a subscription, you generate an account and get free CME every time you browse. Easy, fast and free CME right there!

Second this - be sure to sign-up for this program. You'll probably be surprised at how quickly you can rack up CME. Just be sure to log into your account before looking stuff up so that the tracking can occur.

I second this, though I often log in after the search results come up. Upon logging in, it returns to the search results, so I've assumed the search is registered. I hope that happens; I should probably test this at some point...

When i was studying for my FP shelf & step 2 ck I used AAFP site. Each quiz is worth 1/4 CME and there are 135 quizzes (set 1 is 1-99 and set 2 is 1-37 but #31 is missing). That's 33.75.

What exactly is the difference between the categories?

I use this site, and it has the state specific courses you need. Netcme dot com.
